PARIS (AFP) - – A "tsunami of obesity" is unfurling across the world, resulting in a near-doubling of the numbers of dangerously overweight adults since 1980, doctors warned on Friday.

More than half a billion men and women -- nearly one in nine of all adults -- are clinically obese, according to research by a team from Imperial College London, Harvard and the World Health Organisation (WHO).

Internet Tools To Help You Out

There are many tools on the internet that can help you in your daily work. Some of them are useful, many are not. They can range from emails to servers to videos to widgets for your websites. Some of them can be extremely useful for your learning habits as well.

Certain tools xan help you to access to information more easily. These tools also help to make things more convenient for you especially Google tools.  Here are some of the more strongly recommended tools in the website:

Study Skills

Many students lack proper study skills. What happens later will usually be a vicious cycle - they don't do well for their tests, they feel lousy about themselves, they give up without trying because they want to convince themselves that they are smart but chose to give up, and then starts to mix with bad company and next thing he/she knows - starts spiraling downwards.

Now what students must understand is that they study so that they will be able to have a lot more choices next time in their career paths. They will not be stuck and be forced to take up jobs that they dislike and live life with lttle passion for. Their careers will also determine their self-esteem and ego as well as future.

Starting a Research Assignment

Starting a paper can be extremely daunting. It seems like it's too much work and almost impossible for anyone. Even for adults - it seems like an almost impossible task. Yet, by the time they reach polys/JCs or even ITEs, students are expected to know how to write a research paper. It is a skill that the working society expects you to know. And admittedly, it can be tiring, tedious and be a whole lot of hard work just to make sure that your paper is fair and objective.

To give you a head start on what is expected from a research paper, I sourced around for some informative websites that might give you a better idea on how to start a research paper. Hope these websites will be beneficial to you.
